You can sit at your table and watch chef Jim Hanusiak move about the kitchen, putting your dinner together with an air of calm competence. And what fine, fresh plates he produces – meals that are original but not the least bit showy.
It’s tastefully decorated, and with a wonderful menu that offers a variety of specialties, including sumptuous soups. I will not divulge my habitual selections, but I keep going back, which is self explanatory.
The combination of the lemony sauce, the good smoked salmon, the slightly runny poached egg and the English muffin is excellent – comfort food of the highest order.
